چکیده
Abstract The forestry and Other Land Use (FOLU) sector in Indonesia is expected to contribute 60% of the greenhouse gas emission reduction. priority location for enhancing carbon stock as mitigation action natural forests, such Mount Halimun Salak National Park (MHSNP). objectives this research were estimate vegetation cover changes 2016, 2019, 2022, analyze programs affecting forest MHSNP. This used Landsat 8 satellite imagery. NDVI was categorized into five classes, specifically class 1 (the clouds/non-vegetation), 2 (very low dense vegetation), 3 (low 4 (moderately 5 (highly vegetation). MHSNP consecutive 2019 2022 dominated by (35,94% or 31.508,45 ha), (30,86% 27.053,73 (58,76% 51.543,18%), respectively. In general, large from 2016 increasing 87.662,06 ha 87.716,88 significantly denser. It might be caused success program MHSNP, rehabilitation area, tree adoptions, restoration collaboration with communities companies.

Multifractal Downscaling of Rainfall Using Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) in the Andes Plateau
In this paper, a multifractal downscaling technique is applied to adequately transformed and lag corrected normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) in order to obtain daily estimates of rainfall in an area of the Peruvian Andean high plateau. This downscaling procedure is temporal in nature since the original NDVI information is provided at an irregular temporal sampling period between 8 a...

A 30-year series of global monthly Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) imagery derived from the Global Inventory Modeling and Mapping Studies (GIMMS) NDVI3g archive was analyzed for the presence of trends in changing seasonality. Using the Seasonal Trend Analysis (STA) procedure, over half (56.30%) of land surfaces were found to exhibit significant trends. Almost half (46.10%) of the ...
متن کاملPreliminary comparison of landscape pattern-normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) relationships to Central Plains stream conditions.
We explored relationships of water quality parameters with landscape pattern metrics (LPMs), land use-land cover (LULC) proportions, and the advanced very high resolution radiometer (AVHRR) normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) or NDVI-derived metrics. Stream sites (271) in Nebraska, Kansas, and Missouri were sampled for water quality parameters, the index of biotic integrity, and a hab...

متن کاملMapping and Attributing Normalized Difference Vegetation Index Trends for Nepal
Global change affects vegetation cover and processes through multiple pathways. Long 1 time series of surface land surface properties derived from satellite remote sensing give unique 2 abilities to observe these changes, particularly in areas with complex topography and limited research 3 infrastructure. Here, we focus on Nepal, a biodiversity hotspot where vegetation productivity is 4 limited...
